Commercial Property Associate

HarperLloyd Recruitment is partnering with a leading top-tier international law firm seeking a Property Senior Associate to join its Brisbane office.

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Australia’s leading real estate teams, working on high-profile and complex property and development matters across a broad range of sectors. You will be part of a collaborative and well-established team advising on significant transactions and projects across the full lifecycle of real estate assets.

The Role

In this position, you will:

• Work on major commercial development, infrastructure, and urban renewal projects
• Advise on acquisitions and disposals across all property asset classes including retail, industrial, commercial, residential and hotels
• Assist with structuring and negotiating joint ventures, co-ownership arrangements, and sale and leaseback transactions
• Advise on leasing, lease negotiations, and real estate aspects of M&A and financing transactions

• Brisbane-based team led by an experienced Partner with a strong internal leadership style
• Close-knit team structure including Senior Associates, Associates, and junior lawyers

About You

• Qualified Lawyer admitted in Queensland with approximately 2-4 years’ PAE
• Strong experience in commercial property and real estate transactions
• Exposure to development, acquisitions/disposals, or leasing matters highly regarded
• Confident managing transactions and working directly with clients
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and technical legal skills
• Collaborative approach with an interest in mentoring junior lawyers
